Northern Territory Police have arrested a 16 year old male following an incident in which he armed himself with weapons in public.
Police allege the offender armed himself with two homemade machetes and used them to cause damage to the Umbakumba General store and a Toyota Troop Carrier on January 9.
He has been charged with armed with an offensive weapon, going armed in public and 2 counts of criminal damage, and has been bailed to appear in the Alyangula Youth Justice Court on February 20.
