Hot100 Updates Bomb Found At Fannie Bay

The Darwin Pulse

A World War 2 Bomb was discovered at The Darwin Turf Club on Wednesday afternoon.

Crews were working on the resurfacing of the track when they discovered the object said to be the size of a football.

Police, firies, and the Army were called to the scene and confirmed the Bomb was not live before taking it away.

Due to the bombing in Darwin 1942 it is not the first time bombs have been found in the top end, with an unexploded one found on Rapid Creek Beach 12 months ago.
