The Northern Territory Department of Primary Industries has extended the public comment period on discussion papers of proposed changes to the Northern Territory Recreational Fishing Controls.

The proposed changes include an increased management program on species including golden snapper and jewfish.

Comments on the proposals close on their 31^st on January and the documents can be accessed on the Department of Primary Industries website.
