Hot100 Updates Tree crushes Campervan

2 people have had a lucky escape after a tree fell onto their campervan while staying at The Daly Waters Inn.

Watch Commander Garry Smith said one of the occupants, a 49 year old female, was able to get out the campervan while a 63 year old male remained trapped inside.

“Staff from the roadhouse used a chainsaw to cut away branches and was able to free the 63 year old male. He suffered possible broken ribs, minor heads injuries, and both were obviously in shock.”

Fortunately the van was attached to the couples Land Cruiser which prevented the van from being completely crushed.
