Territorians will now have greater access to Dundee Beach during the wet season with the completion of the raising of The Annie Creek Bridge.
The upgrade cost the Northern Territory Government $2.5 million and means that the chances of the road having to be closed would now be a 1 in 20 year flood event.
The Government has plans to upgrade more crossings and bridges with the Charlotte River scheduled as the next upgrade.
