As the debate over the reinstallment of the banned drinkers register continues The Independent Member for Nelson, Gerry Wood has weighed in on the debate.
Mr Wood has condemned the Country Liberals scrapping of the BDR and believes it was never given a proper chance to see if it could work.
Yesterday both Prime Minister Julia Gillard and Federal Opposition Leader Tony Abbott called on the NT Government to reinstate the BDR, a call which Mr Wood agrees with.
