Opposition Leader Delia Lawrie is happy to see Chief Minister Terry Mills back flip on the proposal to close the Humpty Doo Fire Station.
Ms Lawrie said while the decision is a good one, more must be done to help reduce the cost of living for Territorians.
“You can back flip & back flip, and I hope he does more back flips. I hope he has absolutely back flipped on the Jaws of Life that is critical. I hope he back flips on Power and Water, that is so critical so because families are getting their bills right now.”
At this stage The Government has no plans to withdraw the power price price increases.
