Hot100 Updates Wanguri Speaks, Mills Listens

The Labor Party’s Nicole Manison has won the Wanguri by-election with 69.7 percent of the vote.

Many are calling the result as a protest vote against the Country Liberal Government with the recent rise in power and water prices; a disappointing result for the CLP candidate Rihanna Harker.

While the outcome won’t result in a change of Government, Chief Minister Terry Mills released a statement yesterday acknowledging the message contained in the election result.
