With Valentine’s Day just around the corner the City of Darwin is encouraging Territorians to reignite their love of books with many of the programs on offer at Top End libraries.
City of Darwin Lord Mayor Katrina Fong Lim, said libraries are no longer the stereotypical quiet, boring space they used to be.
“Our Libraries are so different now-days, from the whole idea of a very quiet, placid space, to babes & books where people have got their kids in, we’re doing play time and puppets…”
