Hot100 Updates Buddy Withdraws From All-Stars Match

Hawthorn premiership player, Lance Franklin, has been forced to withdraw from the Indigenous All-Stars team due to injury.

Franklin complained of tightness in his calf on Monday after a cyst burst in his knee cap, and for safety precautions has withdrawn from Friday night’s match against Richmond in Alice Springs.

Buddy was named as captain of the side, but the role will now be filled by Essendon half-forward Nathan Lovett-Murray.

The indigenous all-stars match will be played at Traeger Park in Alice Springs this Friday night with the game commencing at 7.
