Hot100 Updates Lambley says 'Public Sector Not As Bad As Labor Claim'

NT Treasurer and Minister for Public Employment, Robyn Lambley, believes figures released this week contradicts Labor’s claims that hundreds of jobs have been lost in the public sector since the CLP came to power.

The figures released this week by the Commissioner for Public Employment show there were 19,989 fulltime public servants in the December quarter, down 50 from the September quarter 2012.

However, Opposition Leader, Delia Lawrie, says that the data does not take into account the sacking of contractors, and has labelled Ms Lambley a disgrace.
