Hot100 Updates 2 Boys Stung By Jellyfish

The Darwin Pulse

2 young boys were stung by jellyfish at Nightcliff beach over the weekend.

The 2 boys were taken to Royal Darwin Hospital but it is unknown what type of jellyfish they were stung by.

It comes as a timely reminder to stay out of the water at beaches and in the harbour from October to May to avoid being stung by jellyfish.

The NT Department of disease control recommends if Territorians need to enter the water, to take a bottle of vinegar with them, and apply it to the affected area if stung before seeking medical treatment.
