Hot100 Updates Get Out The Blankets!

The Darwin Pulse

While Darwin may not be receiving temperatures as cold as other capital cities right now, Top Enders have been reaching for the blankets with temperatures dropping below 10 degrees in some parts of Darwin.

Middle Point, in Darwin’s rural area, dropped down to just 9 degrees yesterday morning, while Darwin airport recorded an overnight low of 16.

Angeline Prasard from the Northern Territory Bureau of Meteorology said temperatures are expected to rise later this week.

“The dry season conditions will continue for a few more days. We will start to see temperatures rising a tad over the next few days. The high that has brought all the good weather over us, it’s slowly moving away to the East and weakening, but the dry season conditions should continue.”

The average daily temperature for the next 3 days will be 31 degrees, compared to just 17 for the other capital cities.
