Hot100 Updates Carnival Kicks Off For 2013

Last night saw the official opening of the 2013 Darwin Cup Carnival.

The carnival commences this weekend with the (Hot100) Guineas Race day and wraps up with the running of the Carlton Mid Darwin Cup on Monday the 5^th of August.

The 4 week-long event will feature 8 days of racing during the carnival with a number of social events in between including the Qantas Darwin Turf Club Gala ball on Saturday the 3^rd of August with headline act Human Nature.

The carnival injects around 50 million dollars into the Territory economy and this year will attract some of the Australia’s best trainers including David Hayes, Peter Moody and Gai Waterhouse.
