Northern Territory Police are calling for public assistance following a stealing with violence incident in Palmerston at around 12:40pm yesterday (Monday, 10 June 2013).
Watch Commander Debbie Gabolinscy said a 45-year-old male was walking in an alleyway between Essington Avenue and Wright Crescent when he was pushed from behind.
"He was pushed from behind and felt a sharp pain at the back of his shoulder and he fell to the ground as a result. An unknown person then has gone through his pockets, stealing some money. He's told us he saw a male run off from there after this happened. He was described as a dark skinned Aboriginal Male who was wearing a white top."
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with further information is urged to contact Police.
