In the second last round of NTFL before finals, Darwin defeated Nightcliff 14.14.98 to 12.9 81 at TIO Stadium.

Palmerston had a late surge in the 4^th quarter but wasn’t enough to defeat Waratahs, going down by 21 points.

Southern Districts defeated Wanderers by 16 points, in a game which saw Damien Cupido break the record for the highest amount of goals scored in NTFL history.

And, Sunday afternoon saw Saint Marys travel across to The Tiwi Islands and defeated the Tiwi Bombers by 46 points.
