Darwin - Time for Shean to wrap up his cable

THE man who made the phones work after Cyclone Tracy, stopped cables to Mandorah being dragged up by ship anchors and strong tides and ensured lines were safe in the Darwin to Adelaide railway building, is about to hang up his handset after 47 years on-call.
