The final round of the NTFL before finals saw some big winning margins starting with Wanderers defeating Palmerston 21.12.138 to 8.5.53


In other matches, it was a disappointing end to the season for Nightcliff who were defeated by Palmerston by 124 points.


The Tiwi Bombers defeated Darwin 23.16.154 to 13.7.85


And Saint Marys finished to season at the minor premiers with their 71 point win over Southern Districts.


Elimination finals start this Saturday.

Hot100 Updates Darwin Netball Association Reschedules Competition

The Darwin Pulse



The Darwin Netball Association has rescheduled its 2013 competition calendar due to damaged courts at Marrara.


Most A-Grade matches will now be played at the Marrara Indoor Stadium on a Saturday, while the A-Reserves competition has been moved from Thursday from Wednesday nights.


All other senior division games will be played on a Thursday.


The changes are only temporary, and the Darwin Netball Association season will start on March 14.

In the second last round of NTFL before finals, Darwin defeated Nightcliff 14.14.98 to 12.9 81 at TIO Stadium.


Palmerston had a late surge in the 4th quarter but wasn’t enough to defeat Waratahs, going down by 21 points.


Southern Districts defeated Wanderers by 16 points, in a game which saw Damien Cupido break the record for the highest amount of goals scored in NTFL history.


And, Sunday afternoon saw Saint Marys travel across to The Tiwi Islands and defeated the Tiwi Bombers by 46 points.
