Fresh from his record setting pass of 5.88 seconds at 243mph, Scott MacLean is the local favourite against a cast of proven five second warriors including Australian Champion John Zappia, Peter Kapiris, Maurice Fabietti, Gary Phillips, Frank Mamone, Russell Pavey, Daniel Gregorini, Matt Abel and Peter Coles.
