Hot100 Updates Prohibited Weapon Found On Man

The Prohibited Weapon Seized A 20-year-old male will face Police questioning after he was discovered to be in possession of a prohibited weapon.


Northern Territory Police Watch Commander Garry Smith said Police made the discovery after the male was taken into protective custody from a licenced venue at around 2:40am this morning.


“During his reception at the city watch house we discovered that his belt was designed to hold a pair of silver knuckledusters. This item is classed as a prohibited weapon and he will be asked to account for his possession of that weapon.”

Hot100 Updates Saints Secure 29th Premiership

Saint Marys have secured the 2012/2013 NTFL Premiership with their 31 point win over the Tiwi Bombers on Saturday night.


Tiwi Bombers led for most of the game but a comeback by the Saints in the in the 2nd half of the match saw the Bombers remain scoreless for the entire 4th quarter.


The win is the 29th premiership for Saint Marys in 69 years.

Hot100 Updates Tipamantamerri Cleared To Play In Semi-Final

Tiwi Bombers Captain Shane Tipuamantamerri has been cleared of his one match ban for his front-on tackle of Southern Districts player Dean Staunton.


The one match ban would’ve meant Tiaupmantamerri would have missed the semi-final match against Saint Marys this Saturday, but an early guilty plea reduced the penalty to a reprimand, meaning he is free to play this Saturday.


Tomorrow night’s tribunal will see Saint Mary’s utility Xavier Clarke face charges and a possible 4 match ban for using forceful front-on contact on Dean Staunton in a round 18 game earlier this month.

Hot100 Updates NTFL Finals Kicks Off

The first round of NTFL finals commences this weekend starting with the elimination final between the Tiwi Bombers and Southern Districts at 3:15pm Saturday at TIO Stadium.


The other elimination final will see Wanderers and Waratahs at 6pm Saturday also at TIO Stadium.


All other clubs have this weekend off and the NTFL Grand Final will take place on Saturday the 16th of March.
